Those inspections of drill pipes, casings, tubing or MWD/LWD tools are usually performed based on the following international standards:
- API RP7-G, API 5CT, API 5B, API 5L
- H.Hill DS1 Cat 1 to 5
- Fearnley Procter NS1/NS2
Those standards and their acceptance criteria can be discussed ahead of the inspection to ensure which one is the preferred one. The regulation in OCTG inspection is very severe and does not allow much gap for defects. Oilfield Inspection will ensure your equipment is properly fitted for purpose.
